WEEK: IELTS SPEAKING PART 1 [ANSWERS]

PART 1

WEEK

ANSWERS

What is your favorite day of the week?

(Answer 1)

Undeniably, it’s Friday. I’m usually more motivated to go to work on that day as I’m always looking forward to the day after that day. So, after work on that day, I usually eat out (eat at a restaurant) with my co-workers or I go to the park to jog.

(Answer 2)

I love Saturdays because that’s the time that I can rest my mind and my body from all the stress that’s caused by work. It’s also the time that I can do the activities that give me strength and motivation such as exercising or playing a sport. Not to mention (in addition to), it’s the time that I can have a trip to places I’ve never been to.

What is your least favorite day?

(Answer 1)

I hate Mondays as most people do. But what can I do? I need to work to make money. So, most of the time I just need to cheer myself up (to make myself feel happy or pleasant) whenever I go to work on a Monday. I dunno I think I haven’t found a dream job of mine that would make me feel delighted (to feel happy) to go to work on a Monday.

(Answer 2)

I don’t think there’s a particular day that I consider the least favorite. Any day can be the least favorite when I feel so pressured or so stressed out with my work. If the demand for my work is out of hand  (out of control), that’s when I feel irritated and that day automatically becomes my least favorite day.

Is there anything that you do every day?

(Answer 1)

I never miss (fail to do) journaling because it’s my way of creatively expressing myself. I normally journal about how my day went. Also, I actually enjoy writing my aspirations (hope or ambition) in life as those things serve as my guide and they help me develop a sense of purpose (having the intention to accomplish something that is meaningful to you).

(Answer 2)

Let me think…well, I watch Youtube videos every single day to entertain or educate myself. In fact, I spend two to three hours on Youtube. You know, Youtube, has been everyone’s go-to (denoting a person or thing that may be relied on or is regularly sought out in a particular situation) place when they’re bored or when they simply want to escape from all the stress that they experience at work, or when they want to know something. So, yes, that’s the thing that I never miss doing every single day.

What is the busiest day of the week for you?

(Answer 1)

It’s always Monday since it’s the start of the workweek which means more new tasks are given to me that need to be completed at a certain time and day. I always have mental and physical exhaustion (extreme fatigue) every Monday and I dreadfully (extremely) hate it.

(Answer 2)

Honestly, I’m always busy every single day, however, Friday is the busiest that I sometimes overwork because I have to make sure to finish all the tasks assigned to me before I enjoy my weekend. I actually don’t like leaving work with an unfinished task on a Friday as it does only spoil (destroys the value or quality) my weekend thinking about it.
